Ive noticed it 5 times in the last 3 days alone. A norton security icon pops up on my desktop adn each time I see it, I uninstall it and remove it form the desktop, but it keeps coming back. Im scared it’s the worm thats been going around. I do have a very good antivirus software, McAfee, and I regularly scan my computer and download updates. But how can I block this from my computer or delete it for good?

I have to disable my Norton firewall to access my company’s intranet. Every few minutes a Norton alert pops up telling my there is a problem with my Norton. I understand its helpfulness if I were not aware of the problem, but since I am aware that I have it turned off, it is really annoying. I looked around the control panel in Norton and didn’t see anything I thought would fix this problem. Help!

i removed norton 360 a while ago.
but the liveupdate is still there. why? how do i get rid of it? simply going to the programs and pressing remove doesnt do anything. i also tryed looking up a removal tool online. but no luck. please help.

Please tell me how I get Norton off my compuer. It is driving me nuts. Does not have its own uninstall. Add or Remove programs does not work because it says the live update is still running. How do I turn live update off? How do I get this very annoying program off my new computer?
