Ive noticed it 5 times in the last 3 days alone. A norton security icon pops up on my desktop adn each time I see it, I uninstall it and remove it form the desktop, but it keeps coming back. Im scared it’s the worm thats been going around. I do have a very good antivirus software, McAfee, and I regularly scan my computer and download updates. I have to disable my Norton firewall to access my company’s intranet. Every few minutes a Norton alert pops up telling my there is a problem with my Norton. I understand its helpfulness if I were not aware of the problem, but since I am aware that I have it turned off, it is really annoying. i removed norton 360 a while ago.
but the liveupdate is still there. why? how do i get rid of it? simply going to the programs and pressing remove doesnt do anything. i also tryed looking up a removal tool online. but no luck. please help.
